Southwind’s affiliated healthcare company, MedDevelopment, was given a real estate assignment by a for-profit, suburban Philadelphia hospital. The hospital was profitable and growing, but was severely limited by a land-locked campus in an urban setting. The developers maximized the use of the hospital campus through development of a 600-space structured parking facility and a 45,000 sq.ft. medical office building. The medical office building is connected to the hospital and provides the hospital a key recruiting tool for physicians.
